Test Manager-PLM

Role Purpose:The IT&D Test Manager - PLM will be part of PLM Portfolio team that is responsible for sustainability of the PLM eco-system, and operate from the Reckitt Global Hub, Hyderabad.The Test Manager will be Testing SME for the PLM eco-system and has the responsibility to provide quality and test advocacy, define and deliver Test strategy, approach including test automation. The lead will also be responsible to plan, track, monitor and control the testing activities, manage testing related RAID, quality of test deliverables and product releases. Key responsibilities:• Define Strategy, build a testing team of professionals (largely external resources) with required skills.• Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing.• Work with Project Managers, Release Management Lead, Business Process Owners, Technical & Functional managers and develop the test execution plan with tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support.• Define and lead the test automation strategies, framework, test case automation to support ongoing product lifecycle management.• Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and status, performance baselines etc.• Review and signoff the Test deliverables. Ensure good documentation practices are adopted.• Work with Project Managers and Release Management Leads and determine the governance forums, conduct forums with relevant stake holders.• Test RAID management. Timely escalation of risks & issues to the senior stakeholders of the portfolio• Be the single point of contact for all testing activities of the portfolio and internal / external teams.Relationship Management• Building strong relationships with IT&D and business stakeholders.• Building strong relationship with vendors, delivery partners to ensure product releases and projects are delivered on time and high quality.Skills/ExperiencesEssential• 12 - 15 years of experience in managing and delivering large and complex testing projects, including test automation projects.• End to End understanding of test engineering life cycle of all types of testing associated activities. E.g., Test Strategies, Test Execution, Test automation, defect management, tools.• Extensive experience in Microfocus ALM tool and Selenium & Worksoft test automation tools.• Able to collaborate with cross functional teams for effective testing of the product releases.• Should have working experience in Agile methodologies.• Able to define and execute test strategies for large programs and portfolios.• Track multiple projects to ensure regular progress, identify issues / challenges and remediate them.• Effective time management and organisational skills.• Critical thinker and ability to demonstrate logical approach to problem solving.• Able to deal with conflict and mediate. Oversee and manage dependencies.• Excellent verbal communications with strong written skills and ability to present to all levels of the stakeholders.• High level of motivation, flexibility, drive, and personal commitment.• Able to deal with ambiguity and cope with change.Desirable• Experience of working within FMCG, Personal Hygiene and Healthcare sector• Experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)• Understanding ADO fundamentalsTechnical / Professional Qualifications:Essential• Graduate or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent• Certifications on Test Automation Tools• Microsoft Office Suite to Proficient levelDesired• Trained or certified in Agile, Scaled Agile, DevOps methodologies• ITIL Intermediate levelTeam management • Mentor, guide and motivate the team and lead them in the right direction• Monitor the quality of the work of direct reports (internal or external resources)• Manage staff in accordance with all HR Policies and procedures PRB
