The role has a focus on watching the vision of grassroots football matches and accurately coding individual player statistics using our specialized software. Our team members undergo specific training (in person & remotely) to enhance their knowledge around the game of Australian rules football and develop their practical skills in areas such as data collection & interpretation.TASKS MAY INCLUDE: Coding Australian Rules football games in a comprehensive manner.Collecting & analyzing and interpreting data.Liaising with supervisors to identify best performing players to highlight THIS POSITION IS BEST.SUITED TO PEOPLE WHO:Have completed a related degree such as sport science, sport management etc.Have a strong work ethic and attention to detail as our product is heavily reliant on accurate analysis of matches.Have a keen interest and enjoy the analytical aspects of sports.Applicants MUST be available during weekends, including Saturday nights and Sunday.Can work independently without direct supervision. DESIRABLE SKILLS Strong communication skillsA strong level of sports knowledge, rules, and gameplay (in particular AFL)Willingness to learn all statistics and interpretations of all involved statistics.Proactive attitude and taking initiative in appropriate situations.
