The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching MBA students, engaging in high-quality research, and contributing to the academic community.Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality teaching to MBA students in the specified areas of specialization.- Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lecture notes, and assignments.- Conduct research and publish findings in reputable academic journals.- Supervise student projects and theses.- Mentor and advise students on academic and career matters.- Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement processes.- Engage in professional development activities to stay current in your field.- Collaborate with colleagues on research and academic projects.- Contribute to the administration and governance of the institution.- Participate in departmental and institutional events and activities.Qualifications:- A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Finance, Analytics, Commerce, Statistics, General Management, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.- For Assistant Professor: A strong potential for high-quality teaching and research.- For Associate Professor: A proven track record of high-quality teaching, research, and publication.- Relevant teaching experience at the postgraduate level, preferably in MBA programs.- Excellent communication and presentation skills.- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment.Desirable Qualifications:- Experience in using modern pedagogical techniques and technologies in teaching.- Industry experience in relevant fields.- Membership in professional organizations and active participation in conferences and seminars.Acharya Bangalore B-School (ABBS) is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community.
