Automation EngineersPrimary ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities include working with Dev/PM/Test to design and implement test and validation strategies throughout the development life cycleTest Planning, test preparation, Test execution, and Test status reporting Design and implement robust, scalable, and high quality test automation suites using Selenium and Java Write, execute and debug automated test cases, troubleshoot and debug complex systemsDetect underlying problems, patterns, and looks beyond the obvious. Assist in the analysis of test results to identify the root cause of failureIdentify opportunities for process, tools and test methodology improvements and drive those from concept to implementationWork with the open source to scale up test automation practices, and provide robust releases.Required SkillsExcellent development skills in either Java or C# is mandatoryExcellent Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures & design patternsExperience in communicating with business teams, other development teams, & management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsExcellent experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG / Junit, build tools and Continuous Integration toolsGood hands on automation experience in creating frameworks, object identification & scriptingShould be able to design & implement robust, scalable, and high quality test automation suitesExperience of API automation, integration and unit testing is good to have.Experience of configuration management tools (GIT / SVN / TFS) and configuration concepts (branching, merging etc.)Experience and understanding of Agile development conceptsExcellent communication skills, organizational & team building skills PRB
