Your ideas brought to fruition will help improve the ability of our Financial Planners to deliver purposeful advice to our customers, ensuring their financial wellness. If you want to be part of a high-caliber team and possess validated software engineering principles - this may be your opportunity!Job Responsibilities:Actively collaborate with the other engineers on the squad through code reviews, pair programming, interactive design sessions, and team retrospectives.Propose technical solutions demonstrating an understanding of the business problem under study.Implement Person Accounts, Shield, Platform Events and Platform Cache, Web Components, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Lightning Connect, and Third-Party REST APIs.Integrate with other enterprise and cloud applications using Web services, middleware, and Event-driven architectures.Mentor team members in technology, architecture, and delivery of applications.Uses operational data as a basis for inspiring changes to the team's services and features.Contacts partners during the creation, planning, and execution stages of development to ensure alignment.Consistently writes production-ready code that is testable and easily understood by other developers.Identifies and prioritizes refactoring opportunities, leaving code in a better state than when starting their work.Reviews epics and ensures they're appropriately broken down and prioritized.Moves stories from idea to implementation, including work estimation, collaboration with our product team, development, testing, code review, and deployment.Requirements:5+ years of software development experience, including experience integrating large data volumes on the Salesforce platformExperience with master data management, data governance, data security, data quality, and related tools desiredAbout Edelman Financial EnginesSince 1986, Edelman Financial Engines has been committed to always acting in the best interests of our clients.
