This role calls for exceptional business acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, along with proficiency in Excel. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, adept at engaging with various stakeholders, skilled in in-depth analytics, and a persuasive communicatorKey Responsibilities:Act as a hands-on business partner for the division, collaborating across teams to provide financial support and insights to BU leaders.Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the divisions.Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles for the businesses.Continuously improve and maintain budget and forecast models for the P&L of the division.Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies to optimize financial performance.Deliver innovative, high-value-added financial information and support analysis to leadership for strategic planning and decision-making.Manage sales invoices and payment reconciliation.Maintain customer ledger and handled purchase invoices bookings.Ensure compliance with taxation laws and GST filings.Finalize trial balances and manage monthly book closures.Preparation of monthly & quarterly balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting & ledger maintenanceHandle accruals and provisioning and maintain daily cash and bank transactions.Ensure compliance with TDS regulations and manage inventory accounting.Oversee payroll finance and ensure PF/ESI compliance.Review secretarial compliances.Qualifications and Requirements:Minimum 4-5 years of managerial experience in a private company (turnover 100-500 crores).Preferably a CA qualification.Experience in D2C companies is preferred.Proficient in handling large datasets.Advanced Excel skills and experience in MIS automation.Reporting Structure:The Accounts Head will report to the CFO/Founder's Office.
