You'll be responsible for cultivating partnerships with MICE companies, PCO's, production companies, and other relevant businesses. Your role includes managing our trade sales database and website, as well as overseeing general sales administration tasks. English at a professional level; MS Office & Opera PMS are essential. Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibility to liaise and with the following external resources on a professional level:Tour operatorsTravel agentsBooking agentsFunction coordinatorsProfessional conference organizersProduction companiesMaintain client databasesHandle all site inspection requests and communicate accordingly with other departments and conduct site inspections when necessaryConduct product training if requiredAssist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material for events, workshops, and trade showsCoordinate and attend workshops, tradeshows with sales team when requiredMaintain trade websiteApproval of STO applications on websiteBuilding of client profiles in Opera and linking appropriate rate tierAll administrative duties related to the aboveMaking reservations on OperaControl and record keeping of all trade Sales related activitiesCoordinate sales team by managing schedules, keeping record of important documents, and communicating relevant informationCorrespondence regarding trade sales and other activitiesAssist Trade Relationship Manager with administrative dutiesAble to work shiftsExceptional customer care and service deliveryProblem solving abilities and abilities to manage customer issuesThe ideal candidate would need to be a team player and work well with colleagues in collaboration of monitoring email boxes and telephone lines.The candidate would not be a typical time watcher and would be eager to assist the department to achieve maximum efficiency
