If you are a (senior) embedded software engineer and if it gives you energy to raise our platform to the next level, read on!As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you love the Linux OS. You will be part of a team of embedded software engineers who are developing a platform based on the Linux OS for our Robotic Platform. In the future we want to extend that to multiple components. Beside your technical skills you can cooperate closely with other Engineers of Electronics and Robotic Applications. Together focusing on continuously improving our (software) development practices and our products.Your main responsibilitiesTeam Interaction:Be part of a platform development team of 6 engineersSharing your knowledge and coaching team members.Ensure an effective cooperation with our development partners in Europe.Technical Leadership:Support the platform approach and actively promote and roll-out this platform to the Robotic Application teams. So be hands-on technically, actively participating in projects.Address platform architecture and software requirements, cyber security, design, implementation, and testing.Manage maintenance of existing common software components.Interacts with the different software communities (e.g Linux) and actively seeks for new technologies in the market.Agile Practices:Worked in teams that used Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging yourself and colleagues to learn, adapt, and enhance their processes.
