Job Profile: - MerchandiserJob Description & Responsibilities:- Oversee the sampling and production process for outsourcing.- Ensure product selection meets brand requirements.- Prepare time and action (T&A) plans for garment orders within set timelines.- Ensure booking of raw materials and trims.- Communicate design and construction details from tech packs to production teams.- Manage the T&A calendar, ensuring timely and cost-effective sample production.- Source materials, manage costings, and oversee fabric, embroidery, trim testing, and print development.- Coordinate daily with teams to ensure high-quality standards in garment samples.- Identify suppliers and manufacturers for sourcing and production.- Estimate costs, set quality standards, and monitor production processes, adjusting schedules as needed.- Prepare and present periodic merchandising reports.- Coordinate with other functions to meet deliverables.- Ensure the quantity and quality of raw materials from suppliers.- Monitor garment production progress and quality as per the T&A Plan.- Oversee garment packing instructions and ensure timely delivery of finished garments.Qualification & Skills:- Graduate degree in fashion design, garment technology, B.Des, B.Sc, or equivalent.- Knowledge of fabrics, both knits and wovens, with the ability to identify types and quality.- 2-3 years' experience as a Merchandiser for a fashion brand or export house.- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and people management skills.- Adaptable and collaborative with all company teams.- Project management experience with the ability to prepare reports and plans.- Decisive, committed, and able to work under pressure.- Good at managing budgets and solving problems.- Strong communication and presentation skills.- Positive attitude and ability to motivate a team.Location: HyderabadHiring a Merchandiser to oversee sampling, production, and sourcing, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality garment delivery.
