Criteria:Diploma in mechanical/chemical engineering with 1 to 10 years of experience in P&ID design of industrial plants. Candidates who are having experience more than 11 years are requested not to apply for this position. Minimum 2 years of leading multiple small projects independentlyMinimum 1 years of leading a team having direct reporters and carries experience of people management.Must have HandsOn experience working on ACad. Working/Knowledge of Autodesk Plant3D would be an additional advantage.Demonstrate ability in executing detailed engineering of P&IDs.Good knowledge in applying process views of usage of Valves & instruments on P&IDs.Good knowledge of standard specifications and codes for piping (ASME/DIN/ISO and IS standards) and of technical specifications for piping, fittings, accessories (e.g. valves, instrumentation) and assemblies.Sufficient expertise to work with supervision of handling a team of 2 to 3 CAD engineers. Proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.Job Description:Reports to the Team Manager - P&ID.Capable of planning the projects, resources allocation, priority handling, and control on deliverables commitments with quality assurance. Study the project requirement and verifying the available inputs to start the P&ID drafting, discuss with the Team Manager, project manager and process engineers on the technical inputs gaps if any proactively and schedule the deliverables milestones wise.Capable of handling a team executing the P&ID drafting with minimum instructions once the necessary information is made available.Responsible for the quality of the project P&IDs assigned.Responsible for Hours monitoring of the Team.Good experience in developing CAD P&ID with nozzle check from vessel drawings, vendor bought out items review & check on the P&IDs, Check levels on P&ID with reference to layout drawings, checking & preparation of P&ID Reports.Working on the P&ID quality KPIs, ability to work on the root cause analysis, P&ID drafting/design guidelines for continuous improvement in the P&ID to maintain design excellence. Contributes, in collaboration with other team members, to the development and improvement of working methods, specifications, tools, etc. Have to take care of team members in order to keep training them on technical aspects, best practices on CAD tools and P&ID design approach, getting feedback on the project and workload and feed forward with appropriate inputs assertively for constructive improvement of the team members.
