Pipeline Stress Engineer (Onshore)

Minimum 10 years of Pipeline Stress Analysis experience in the Oil & Gas (Onshore).Should have in depth knowledge of performing Onshore Pipelines Stress Analysis for Carbon Steel and HDPE material under buried condition.Should have in depth knowledge of performing pipeline stress analysis for surface laid flowlines.Should have in depth knowledge of OISD standards, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, AS/NZS 2885 & ALA guidelines.Knowledge of ASME B31.3 & ASME B31.12 will be an added advantage.Should be able to perform Onshore Pipeline Stress Analysis using Caesar II &/or Autopipe softwares.Perform Pipeline analysis for upheaval buckling.Perform Pipeline Stress Analysis for sustained, thermal and multiple operating and occasional cases (viz wind, seismic, relief, water hammer etc.) to meet the project requirements.Ability to perform associated calculations of piping system i.e., Slug force, PSV force, trunnion checks and flange leakage checks.Well versed with preparation of Onshore Pipeline Stress design basis, nozzle loads transmittals, loading for pipe rack/structures as an input to CSA.Ability to read & review Pipeline Alignment Sheets, Station Approach Drawings, Piping 3D model in NavisWorks etc.Stress engineers should be capable of coordinating with Projects and other engineering departments and vendors and handle interface issues.Good communication skills - written and spoken English.Should be able to prepare Stress reports.Qualification- B.E/ B.Tech- Mechanical Engineering PRB
