It's a great time to join us and make an impact in shaping the future of our business.Job DescriptionThis is a pivotal role within the IT department where you will take the helm with our IT environments; designing, building and maintain them. On offer is the chance to have real influence in driving how Rotork tackles crucial issues in the IT space.Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will work as part of a sizeable team to support the customer base and achieve other business objectives.In this role you will have a range of responsibilities based around infrastructure needs like planning updates, implementing new Azure cloud solutions and produce quality technical documentation of all processes. You will also support more complex requests that have been escalated and require solid technical experience to solve them.The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker, be adaptable to a multitude of situations and have excellent communication skills.ResponsibilitiesManaging the Azure platformManaging procedures and policies.Supporting service desk when needed.Working with other teams to ensure timely delivery of allocated tasks.Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by helping to deliver operational tasks and supporting project activity.Experience with Infrastructure as Code.Cost management and Budgeting within the platform.Experience Requirements:Experience deploying and administrating IaaS and PaaS services.Working with Cloud Infrastructure & Security Specific Experience.Cloud Platform and InfrastructureStrong knowledge of Azure networking and Azure Security.Experience providing 3rd line support across Azure.Experience in the development and management of App ServicesKnowledge of at least one of scripting languages: Shell Scripting, Python, Powershell, BashComfortable in engaging with internal stakeholders when discussing new and existing cloud projects.Experience with Infrastructure as CodeThe Successful Candidate:Analytical thinkingAdaptable to a multitude of situationsExcellent communication skillsQualificationsMust have:Microsoft AZ-900Microsoft AZ-104Would be advantageous:Microsoft AZ-305Microsoft AZ-204Microsoft AZ-400 PRB
