Technical Operations Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Technical Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our technical infrastructure, focusing on Node.js and AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for ensuring system reliability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of applications.Incident Management: Respond to and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution.Deployment Management: Manage the deployment of new releases, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.Automation: Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automation of various tasks and processes.Cloud Management: Manage AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and other services.Performance Tuning: Optimize applications and systems for performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and other teams to ensure smooth operations and consistent deployments.Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for operational processes, incident responses, and infrastructure.Required Skills and Qualifications:Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Node.js and AWS.Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.Automation: Experience with scripting and automation tools, such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.Cloud Management: Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.System Monitoring: Familiarity with monitoring tools and frameworks, such as Nagios, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities.Preferred Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: Previous experience in a technical operations or DevOps role.Certifications: AWS certification or relevant technical certifications.
