Release Management Analyst [Release Management & SAP]

Job Description: 3M is seeking a Release Management Analyst for the Enterprise Release Management TeamJob Summary:The person hired for the position of Release Management Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and executing key segments of the Enterprise Release Management 3M Global SAP deployments. Responsibilities will include the transport management activities including the build and execution of the technical cutover plan for ERP Releases to ensure that 3Ms SAP landscape is consistent and accurate before test cycles and Go-Live. They will also support the communications process on the weekend (once a month) to track and deliver work activities planned around Global Data Center (GDC) Maintenance plan.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Assist with the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise.Ensure that standards and guidelines around the SAP transport process are followed and understood.Communicate with Security and Basis support teams to resolve transport or system related problems and expedite transport migration time.Support the implementation of the Technical Cutover plan in the different SAP environments, with the willingness to provide some weekend support coverage when needed to ensure we adhere to the project timeline.Assist with the planning, communication, and execution of Trusted and Periodic SAP Releases.Support analysis and troubleshooting using SAP Active Control.Also, serve as Enterprise Release Management communicator lead while other groups conduct weekend maintenance activities (1 weekend a month).Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited universityMinimum of one (1) year of technical project experienceExperience working with cross functional IT/Business teams.Preferred Qualifications:Clear and concise communication skills, verbal and written.Strong attention to detail and organization skillsComfort in communication across all levels of the organizationSAP Active Control experience ATS
