Lead - Compliance Officer
Job details
Assist in developing and implementing compliance model required to operate within acceptable standardsOwning & managing the compliance requirements and ensuring adherence to the requirementsLiaison with stakeholder/senior management to ensure proper implementation of established compliance policiesReview business policies to ensure they are aligned as per regulatory requirementsCollaborate with other departments such as the risk management or internal audit unit to forward compliance issues for investigationConduct reviews to identify gaps in the overall compliance processes within and outside the department & ensure identification of staff accountability for requisite actionEnsure adherence to timelines for various compliance activities as assigned by regulator/ Board/ top or senior managementReview the policies/ products/ processes to ensure compliance with regulatory & statutory laws.Carry out assessments to identify areas of potential compliance risks in order to implement preventive/corrective strategies to address compliance issuesProvide reports on a regular basis to senior management to keep them updated on progress of compliance operationsOrganize compliance programs to educate the staff on recent and already existing compliance requirements PRB
