Job details
Overseeing the handling of cargo during consolidation and deconsolidation processes.Conducting inspections to ensure that the cargo is properly packed, labeled, and documented.Managing and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing cargo.Ensuring that all necessary documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms, is complete and accurate.Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and documentation requirements.Coordinating with customs authorities to facilitate the smooth clearance of cargo.Implementing and enforcing security measures to prevent theft, damage, or unauthorized access to cargo.Adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries during cargo handling operations.Communicating with shipping lines, trucking companies, customs officials, and other stakeholders to coordinate the timely movement of cargo.Addressing any issues or discrepancies related to cargo, documentation, or other operational matters.Managing the inventory of goods within the CFSImplementing systems to track the location and status of cargo within the facility.Providing assistance and information to customers regarding the status, location, and release of their cargo.Resolving customer inquiries or concerns related to cargo handling and storage.Staying informed about and ensuring compliance with relevant local, national, and international regulations governing container freight operations.Overseeing the use of equipment such as forklifts for the movement of cargo within the CFS.
