AWS Cloud Engineer

JOB SUMMARY• Working hours: India / UK shifts (10 AM to 7:30 PM IST / 1 PM to 10:30 PM IST)• Location: Chennai, India• Years of Experience: 7-10 years, of which minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience with AWS.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Implementing cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS.• Responsible for building and maintaining AWS based solutions to support a distributed microservices architecture.• Implementing observability tools and services to monitor the application and cloud infrastructure. • Monitor and examine all application, performance, event, and system logs to assist in troubleshooting.• Assisting secure the AWS infrastructure with security tools and services.• Working with application teams to build, maintain, and document through Confluence the Development, Testing, Staging, and Production environments.TECHNICAL SKILLS:• Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ability to work with and design Terraform scripts. • AWS administration (networking, security, compute, containers, databases, load balancing, cloud native services)• AWS EKS with Fargate• Security services - WAF, Network Firewall, Inspector, Security Hub, GuardDuty• Observability services - Prometheus, OpenSearch, Grafana• CI/CD pipelines, GIT and Gitlab• Microservices architecture• Design and implement robust disaster recovery and high-availability strategiesSOFT SKILLS: • Should have strong communication skills, excellent spoken and written English. • Should be able to communicate and express ideas, issues, and suggestions effectively. • Should be an excellent team player. • Should be willing to support critical production issues out of working hours. • Should have excellent troubleshooting skills. • Should be able to document a solution PRB
