LocationResponsibilitiesBusiness Development/Project PursuitsParticipate in our internal bid/no-bid process by providing information related to engineering resources, processes and Subject Matter Experts.Support the develop of project based strategic winning strategies, collaborating with the pursuit management teamMaintain a strong network of industry related individuals (OEM's, 3rd Party Contractors, Developers, Local EP houses) for expanding Kiewit Engineering's services and opportunities;Participate in on-going high-level client relationships within the industry;Assist with the development of the technical content for proposal documents ;Support presentation of proposals to customers.Project ExecutionManage and direct the engineering project teams through effective communication, coordination and follow up to meet project goals and objectives;Facilitate effective communication between design and construction project leadership;Ensure proper coordination of technical details across multiple engineering disciplines;Plan and communicate the engineering resources required to support the projects;Responsible for meeting engineering schedules and budgets;Identify project risks along with mitigation strategies;Ensure project scope of work, schedule and budget are clearly defined and understood;Direct the development of the engineering project execution plan;Monitor and report project progress against the execution plan and plan the appropriate corrective action if progress falls behind the plan;QualificationsThe ideal candidate for the Experienced Engineering Project Manager position will possess the following qualities:Excellent French oral and written communication skills, English a strong assetA minimum of 15 years of experience in the industrial process, power, water/wastewater, mining, building, and oil, gas & chemical marketsA minimum of 5 years of experience in the delivery of engineering projects located in QuebecDemonstrated engineering design and management experienceStrong leadership and networking skillsBachelor of Science in EngineeringProfessional Engineering License in Quebec #LI-GH We offer our fulltime staff employees a comprehensive benefits package that's among the best in our industry, including top-tier medical, dental and vision plans covering eligible employees and dependents, voluntary wellness and employee assistance programs, life insurance, disability, retirement plans with matching, and generous paid time off.We believe in equal opportunity in employment practices without discriminationand complywith all laws regarding human rights in the provinces where we operate.There's no limit to what you'll do at Kiewit.
