About the job
Our client is a leading global quantitative trading firm. They are seeking a talented and motivated Quant Trader to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing mid-frequency (minutes to days) futures trading strategies, leveraging advanced quantitative techniques and data analysis. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement MFT futures trading strategies, leveraging advanced quantitative techniques and data analysis
Conduct research and analysis to identify new trading opportunities and optimize existing strategies
Build and maintain trading models and algorithms, using programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java
Continuously monitor and evaluate trading performance and implement improvements as necessary
Collaborate with other traders and analysts to develop and refine trading strategies
Manage risk exposure and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
Communicate trading ideas and strategies to other team members and senior management
Requirements- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quant Trader specializing in MFT futures strategies at a reputable trading firm
Strong knowledge of futures markets and related products, including algorithmic trading, statistical arbitrage, and market microstructure
Proven track record of success in generating profits through MFT futures trading strategies
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts and statistical analysis
Extensive programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or Java
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field, such as mathematics, computer science, or finance
