About the Role As a Director of Systems Engineering for Highspot, you will be responsible to oversee our team of systems and network engineers as well as responsible for maintaining and scaling our systems. You'll lead strategic initiatives to automate, secure, and maintain our systems and network. With a customer-centric mindset, you'll drive the team towards seamless operations while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement. Your hands-on approach ensures that tasks, big or small, are swiftly executed, and your leadership fosters a collaborative environment where learning and growth thrive. Your strong organizational skills and project management skills will be crucial in prioritizing duties and managing multiple projects effectively. You are humble and as a result your team and the company comes first. What You'll Do Own our stack of IT systems including but not limited to Okta, Google, Jamf, Microsoft Azure AD, Intune, Palo Alto VPN, Slack, 1Password.You will refine our infrastructure to support a global hyper growth company pushing automation, streamlining processes, while owning endpoint and system management.Work with multiple stakeholders to help define business and systems requirements for new and existing technology implementations.Manage, grow, and mentor a team of System and Network engineers.Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of key applications driving successful lifecycle management of new and existing applications.As a senior leader of our IT team you will set the roadmap, strategy and prioritize work to meet the needs of the business.As a Director, you'll play a dual role, guiding our strategic direction while actively engaging in hands-on execution alongside our small team. Your responsibilities will encompass leadership, strategy setting, and substantial involvement in day-to-day operations, demonstrating a willingness to dive into individual contributor tasks as necessary. Your Background Minimum 15 years of IT experience working with systems and network preferably with some time spent at a SaaS company.Strong experience managing Okta, Jamf, Google, MS Azure AD, Intune, Slack and other SaaS applications.Demonstrated previous success in SaaS-centric IT environments8 years managing growing global teamsDemonstrated history in managing roadmap, prioritization and motivating teams and stakeholdersDemonstrated history leading and influencing IT strategyAbility to present ideas in user-friendly languageDemonstrated ability to be self-motivated and curiousDemonstrated ability to lead large scale projects and initiativesAble to think big picture but also detail orientedDemonstrated ability to build robust processes that support a growing organization Base salary range: $166,087 - $225,217 Employees may also be eligible for bonuses, stock options, and other forms of compensation. The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
