As a Sr. Production Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will supervise a team of individual contributors who are manufacturing Honeywell's world-class innovative products. You will leverage your manufacturing experience and skills to lead some of the world's most talented production employees. You will use your leadership abilities to contribute to driving safety, productivity, and exceptional quality in one of Honeywell's production facilities. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a team supervisor, you will coach your team members in technical and behavioral competencies to deliver high-impact business results.
You will report directly to our Operations Manager and you'll work out of our Kanata, ON location.
In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process and be accountable for deliverables. You will drive productivity improvements and a culture of continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will also include employee development, resource management in a dynamic environment, executing scheduling/capacity planning, ensuring on-time delivery, talent management, reviewing quality output, and collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams. Health and safety compliance and QMS compliance will also be key aspects of your role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervise manufacturing employees
Supervise the manufacturing process and be accountable for deliverables
Drive productivity improvements
Drive a culture of continuous improvement
Employee Development
Resource management in a dynamic environment
Executing scheduling/capacity planning and ensuring on-time delivery
Talent management
Review quality output and coach team improvements
Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams
Health and Safety compliance
QMS compliance
AOP alignment (OTTR, PPM, Escapes, inventory, DART)
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE
Post-Secondary education or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of Supervisory leadership experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent.
WE VALUE
Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Implementation experience
Relevant production or manufacturing experiences in Aerospace
Transport Canada regulatory knowledge and experience
Demonstrable experience in team management and development
Efficient with SAP software
Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment
Conveys information with clarity and directness
Computer literacy
Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done.
