Job title: Manager of Structural EngineeringLocation: Netherlands (Remote)Our client is a prominent player in the offshore wind sector with an impressive development pipeline totalling 20GW. They are dedicated to delivering sustainable energy solutions and are currently seeking a Structural Engineering Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee high-quality structural engineering and design initiatives crucial to the success of offshore wind farm projects.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the structural engineering and design development process, ensuring adherence to project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.Supervise technical review and provide advisory support on engineering deliverables, engaging with various stakeholders to address structural issues.Coordinate comprehensive structural engineering and design aspects, including integrated load assessment, structural interfaces, transportation and installation design, and equipment selection.Facilitate the tendering process for work packages, contributing technical expertise to document preparation, bid evaluations, and specification development.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Minimum of 10 years' professional experience, demonstrating proficiency in structural engineering and management within offshore projects, including renewable energy and oil & gas sectors.Industry experience in designing fixed and/or floating offshore structures is highly desirable.Thorough understanding of key topics such as fatigue, buckling, finite element analysis, structural dynamics, hydrodynamics, and soil-structure interactions.Proficiency in linear and non-linear offshore structural analysis and FEA software such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, SESAM, ASAS, STAAD, SACS, or similar packages.Join Our Team:This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of offshore wind energy projects with a forward-thinking company.
