Civil Department Manager | HV & EHV Substation

Leverage your abilities and join the dynamic team of a leading company and one of the largest electrical/electronic manufacturing and contracting companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The Civil Department Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all civil engineering activities within the department, ensuring the successful execution of projects on time and within budget.Key Accountabilities• Lead and manage the civil engineering department, including personnel management, resource allocation, and performance evaluations.• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects related to HV and EHV substations, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.• Collaborate with other departments such as electrical engineering, project management, and procurement to ensure seamless integration of civil engineering activities into overall project plans.• Develop and implement strategies to optimize project delivery processes, improve efficiency, and minimize costs.• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, resolving complex engineering challenges as they arise.• Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and other technical documents prepared by the civil engineering team.• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate them.• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring open communication and timely resolution of any issues or concerns.• Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil engineering, particularly related to HV and EHV substations.Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceWe are Looking for:• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing civil engineering department, with a focus on HV and EHV substations.• Proven track record of successfully managing complex civil engineering projects from conception to completion.• Strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles, including structural design, foundation engineering, and geotechnical analysis.• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.• Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies used in civil engineering design and analysis.Desired Candidate ProfileEducation:Bachelor of Technology/EngineeringGender:nmNationality:Any Nationality
