The Director, Inside Sales is responsible for the profitable growth and maintenance of the national inside sales channel with focus on small and mid-ticket vendor equipment financing portfolio. The incumbent is directly responsible for their leasing portfolio and for the sales management of national based inside sales specialists. The incumbent is responsible for achieving annual leasing targets. The incumbent is responsible for the identification of market opportunities and overall marketing strategy. The Director executes the vision for the operation ensuring the inside sales team is structured and capable to meet existing and emerging organization needs.As the SME provides critical input and leadership in the development and implementation of sales effectiveness tools and processes including CRM, proactive sales calls, new client on-boarding, opportunity spotting and referrals. Collaborate with learning and development partners to provide tools/learning programs that enhance sales and coaching capabilities; to ensure teams fully understand new tools and processes and can begin to effectively leverage them within regions to meet overall business objectives.The Director's success is measured by the team's ability to provide high quality sales (inbound and outbound) and service while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA), resource optimization and adaptation of new proven technologies to increase efficiency, achievement of metrics, and enhanced customer experience. The leader in this role actively contributes to the overall sales & operational targets as well as the daily business decisions.What You'll DoMajor Accountabilities1. Ensures the profitable growth of leasing portfolio by achieving the corporate annual targets for leasing, through direct transactions and sales management.Defines and leads integration of national sales strategy and process for the Inside Sales channel leading the essential use, revenue-producing commercial equipment, and target transaction sizes with a range of $5,000 - $500kPlans and directs the sales effort of the Inside Sales team to identify potential leasing customers through equipment manufacturers and vendors. Identifies prospects and implements an aggressive outbound sales strategy.Responsible for working closely with the enterprise to develop and maintain quality cross referrals, develop and bring new opportunities to Business Banking Centres and develop potential vendor from existing Business Banking clients.Identify and address areas of competition, as well as potential new markets in the team's assigned areas that would maximize the volume and earnings.Develops and maintains referral sources for equipment leasing by supporting targeted vendors nationally and in each region. Create and execute prospecting campaigns focused on our commercial customers2. Drive and manage the integration of technology solutions into the sales and marketing culture, operations, and processes.Work collaboratively with Sales Management on operational efficiencies and systems supporting the inside sales model to deliver an industry leading client experience.Primary SME for defining needed architecture of all sales enablement tools and technologies (e.g., `Microsoft Dynamics CRM,) and related technologies.Work collaboratively across Sales team to formulate, define and implement the company's Sales Technology Roadmap (e.g., workflow, sales processes, technology) aligned to the company objectives.Work collaboratively with Marketing on integration on mail / phone campaigns and Lead Deployment Strategy utilizing CRMBe a change champion to ensure CRM and related technologies are consistently adopted company wide.3. Leads a sales team that delivers an exceptional digital customer experience and offers unique insights to continually improve the client experience.Day to day management of the sales queues and deal flow, proactively reaching out to partners and team to troubleshoot and solution to enable workflows; ensures the deal flows align with operational & credit processes and reflect required standards of documentation and inputHires, manages, and motivates the inside sales team to achieve annual sales objectives and help monitor performance of team to maximize process alignments and efficiencies. 4. Sponsor and/or assist with cross-functional projects varying in size and complexity; providing subject matter expertise and consultation; accepting accountability and/or assuming responsibility for outcomes and completion of specific projects such as those related to technology improvements, efficiencies, and improvements to profitability.How you will succeed:Experienced sales leader with exceptional ability to develop and manage inside sales team with, measurable experience in managing and growing a profitable book of business.Change leader with demonstrated experience fostering and managing a positive culture of change; ability to identify and move the business quickly to respond to changing needs; willingness to challenge the status quo constantly looking for new opportunities, ways to make processes more efficient, and improving products and services for customers; exceptional execution skills and manages resistance to achieve full adoption to make changes happen.Data & Digital Savvy with demonstrated ability to understand customers using data to identify opportunities and optimize customer experience no matter when, where or how they interact with OneCap.
