Job Description: Cleaning Supervisor in Maintenance ProjectOverview:The Cleaning Supervisor in a maintenance project oversees the cleaning and sanitation activities within a maintenance project site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety. This role involves managing a team of cleaning staff, coordinating with other maintenance departments, scheduling cleaning activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:Team Supervision:Supervise and manage the daily activities of the cleaning staff within the maintenance project.Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on project requirements.Conduct regular meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and project progress.Training and Development:Train new employees on specific cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols relevant to the maintenance project.Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure staff are knowledgeable and skilled in best practices.Quality Control:Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure cleaning standards and project specifications are met.Address and resolve any issues or complaints regarding cleanliness and sanitation within the project site.Implement and monitor quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Scheduling and Planning:Develop and manage cleaning schedules to ensure all areas of the project site are cleaned efficiently and effectively.Coordinate with other maintenance departments to schedule cleaning activities without disrupting ongoing maintenance work.Adjust schedules and staffing levels based on project needs and timelines.Inventory Management:Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).Place orders for necessary supplies in a timely manner and ensure proper storage and usage.Maintain accurate records of supply usage and inventory levels.Administrative Duties:Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, staff attendance, and performance.Prepare and submit reports on cleaning activities, inventory status, and any issues or incidents.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Coordination and Communication:Collaborate with other supervisors and project managers to ensure seamless integration of cleaning activities within the overall maintenance project.Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project goals and expectations.Provide feedback and recommendations for improving cleaning processes and overall project efficiency.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role, preferably in a maintenance project or industrial setting.Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and health and safety regulations.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing project needs.Basic computer skills for administrative tasks and reporting.Working Conditions:Primarily works within the maintenance project site, which may involve exposure to various environmental conditions.Requires physical stamina to perform and supervise cleaning tasks.May require working outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentApplication Question(s):Diploma or equivalent.Education:Diploma (Required)Experience:Total Work: 8 years (Required)Soft Services: 4 years (Required)Language:English (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
