Job details

1. Technical Skills and Certifications

HVAC: Certification in HVAC systems (e.g., EPA 608 Certification, NATE Certification). Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Plumbing: Certification or licensure as a plumber. Knowledge of plumbing codes, pipe systems, and water distribution.

Electrical: Certification or licensure as an electrician. Understanding of electrical codes, circuit troubleshooting, and installation of electrical systems.

Civil: Background in civil works such as concrete work, framing, and general construction. Experience with construction site safety and regulations.

2. Experience

Work History: Demonstrated experience in each of the trades mentioned. Preferably with projects that show a range of work from small repairs to large installations.

Project Management: Experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects, including planning, execution, and coordination among different trades.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Proven ability to diagnose issues across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and civil systems and develop effective solutions.

3. Soft Skills

Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and supervisors.

Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, ensuring client satisfaction through professional and courteous interactions.

Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, coordinating with other technicians and contractors.

4. Physical and Safety Requirements

Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces or at heights.

Safety Compliance: Adherence to safety standards and protocols. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other safety practices relevant to each trade.

5. Cultural Fit

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing job sites, tasks, and schedules. Willingness to continue learning and updating skills.

Reliability and Punctuality: Consistent attendance and dependability. Ability to meet deadlines and maintain a regular work schedule.
