Job details

We are looking for a skilled female Salon Supervisor to oversee all aspects of the salon operations in our beauty salons in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, staff scheduling, customer handling, and driving sales and business growth.

Responsibilities:

- Oversees salon staff including hair stylists, nail technicians, spa and beauty therapists, and front desk personnel

- Create and maintain salon schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all services and peak times

- Manage inventory and stock levels, ordering supplies as needed to meet customer demand

- Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner

- Monitor and analyze salon performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and introduce new services or products to meet customer needs

- Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously, taking initiative in resolving guest challenges

- Prepare a daily report of income and report to the Salon Manager

- Ensure all the printing materials are available in the salon

- Keep track of the timing of performing a service by technicians

- Handling guests' needs while maintaining a professional and pleasant manner

- Promote, up-sell & cross-sell products and services

- Explain products, services, and treatments to clients and assist them with determining their individual needs

- Upholds have a high standard of guest relations by ensuring good quality of customer service and brand image

- Ensure all the staff tools are in a good condition

- Monitor stock control and inform the Salon Manager in advance of the products required for professional and retail use

- Monitor expiry dates and stock

- Handle maintenance problems by submitting, coordinating, and following up on Maintenance/ Engineering/ Housekeeping requests

- Ensure high-quality customer service and promote good public relations

- Manage salon facilities including health and safety

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven experience as a Salon Supervisor (mandatory)

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Strong understanding of salon operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service

- Ability to drive sales and meet business targets

- Up-to-date knowledge of beauty and wellness trends

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

- Diploma or certification in cosmetology or related field is a plus
