Position SummaryBased out of New Glasgow or Halifax, NS, or Mississauga, ON the Manager, Investor Relations & Financial Analysis collaborates with various stakeholders internally and externally to provide support to Investor Relations initiatives, and ensures all communications are integrated, consistent and aligned with the business strategy. This role is also responsible for providing strategic financial and analytical support to maximize value creation at Crombie. Additional duties of the Manager, Investor Relations & Financial Analysis include but are not limited to:Provides support to the Senior Director, Investor Relations & Financial Analysis in the delivery of the Investor Relations strategy.Works collaboratively with all key stakeholder groups, including management to understand business objectives, and align with financial and operational strategy.Collaborates with various teams and internal stakeholders to ensure all company communications targeted at Investors, are integrated, consistent and aligned with the business strategy and other internal and external communications.Supports the quarterly and annual reporting process by contributing to materials such as conference calls, presentations, annual reports; creating the initial drafts of press releases and call scripts.Summarizes analyst reports and benchmarking against peers on an ongoing basis to inform IR strategy and key steps/industry best practices and trends.Coordinates, supports, maintains and manages Crombie's investor databases and activity, including existing and prospective investor intelligence.Develops clear and persuasive messaging around financial data and company performance to effectively communicate with investors and stakeholders.Assists with the creation and refresh of marketing material such as investor presentations and fact sheets.Supports ESG Reporting as needed, including but not limited to data management.Manages and assists in updating the Crombie corporate website in collaboration with the Communications team.Provides strategic financial and analytical support to maximize value creation.Performs ad hoc analysis, reporting, and research, summarizing strategic insights and recommendations as required.Assists with preparing presentations for Senior Management and the Board of Trustees.Cultivates strong working relationships across all departments and builds positive relationships with external business partners.Engages across all levels of the organization to create and promote a safe and respectful work environment.Other special projects and tasks as assigned.The profile we are looking forOur ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, MBA, or a related field with at least five (5) years of relevant work experience in investor relations, finance, or accounting positions for a publicly traded company. CPA or CFA designation or working towards a designation is considered an asset. The successful candidate has solid knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements for public companies with exceptional verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills including writing and storytelling skills, with experience in creating engaging narratives to a wide range of audiences. They have the ability to manage a complex workload and are able to prioritize appropriately. They also have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills. They have advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, online and research tools. Knowledge of real estate, capital markets, market drivers and economic trends are key to the success in this role.
