Tailings and Mine Waste Engineer - Senior Yourfuture role on our team BBA is looking for a principalengineer to support the growth of the Soil and Infrastructure group. We'relooking for someone who can take on a technical role and participate in the civildesign of mine tailings facilities, waste rock piles and various watermanagement infrastructures. Additionally, you'll be required to supervise aproject team. This position is ideal for those who are interested in a varietyof technical and management tasks. Withus, you'll get the opportunity to: Design mine tailings management systems using conventional or innovative technologies for tailings, waste rock and water management infrastructures, including dams, dikes and earthworks. Participate in the civil, geotechnical and hydrotechnical design of tailings facilities. Manage and execute projects, including quality control, and time and budget management. Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, and work with other professionals to deliver projects. Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and cost estimates. Work on business development with new and existing clients. Participate in developing a business plan for mine waste management services. Prepare and revise construction and work supervision documents for various designed infrastructures.
