PSI has 2,800+ employees and 40+ affiliates in Europe, North and South America, Asia Pacific and South Africa.Job DescriptionIf you are a qualified enthusiastic legal professional, you may be the expert we are looking for to join our dynamic team in Toronto, Canada.This role supports PSI's legal with a primary focus on contracts related to clinical research. As an Associate Legal Counsel, you will work closely with PSI's international legal and project team to determine appropriate terms and conditions of contracts and to provide legal advice and support.Your role will include:Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts with suppliers, vendors and other business partnersProviding legal advice and support within the Legal department and to other PSI departmentsProvides advice and support on compliance with clinical research legislation, company law, employment law, data protection and other legislation.Researching, and analyzingvarious legal mattersDeveloping, reviewing and ensuring compliance with PSI policies, procedures and instructionsIdentifying and researching various legal issues and assessing their impact on PSI's businessAssist in any other legal matters as and when requestedQualificationsLaw degree, with sound knowledge of contract lawGood knowledge of commercial, corporate and contract law, as well as other relevant legislation (eg. data protection, labor law)A minimum of 3-5years of experience in commercial legal practice (law firm or in-house position), ideally with exposure to the pharmaceutical sectorFluency in English, oral and writtenAbility to work accurately with strong attention to detailExcellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsAbility to prioritize and work efficiently under tight deadlinesAbility to work independently but also within a teamExcellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, in particular MS WordAdditional InformationMake the right call and take your career to a whole new level.Join the company that focuses on its people and invests in their professional development and success.
