The Director of Sales - Road & Mineral Technology (West) will provide strategic leadership and direction for the advancement of Road & Mineral Sales for Western Canada. This position will be accountable for the growth in Hamm, Kleemann, Vogele & Wirtgen sales volume, margins, and performance within the assigned area of responsibility, maintain all Branches engagement in the Sales and Support of Road & Mineral Products, while aligning these objectives with Brandt's overall business strategy. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Achieve sales growth and profitability in all areas of the Road & Mineral Technology market. Achieve sales goals and market share targets as agreed for the long-term success of the Road & Mineral business across the Company. Provide feedback and input to both Brandt and Wirtgen into future opportunities and competitive pressures in the Road & Mineral Technology business. Develop and execute effective sales and marketing Road & Mineral Technology programs and advertising initiatives to drive sales growth - in Wholegood Sales, but also assist in developing Parts and Service initiatives. Provide a focused approach to Road & Mineral Technology sales and aid in the recruitment, development and retention of Territory Managers. Keep current on all new Product advancements and build Sales Strategies to increase sales. Provide assistance and guidance to Branch Sales Managers to support and improve sales techniques, proposals, training, demonstrations, and customer events. Work with suppliers on current product issues, new product opportunities, and competitive pricing pressures. Travel to Branches to develop and foster multi-level selling process with end users and understand unique market challenges. Attend and champion involvement with Industry specific events. Must be able to travel internationally and hold a valid Passport. Manage and direct Corporate Product Managers to enhance customer acceptance and improve Customer experience during demonstration and delivery/ownership of assigned Product groups. Work with Corporate Inventory Manager to ensure proper specification and appropriate inventory is available to anticipate and satisfy sales demands. #LI-onsite
