It sits in a prominent position within the Woolshops pedestrianised shopping precinct alongside stores such as Boots and close to a large Marks and Spencer.A team of 45 dedicated and passionate colleagues call this store home. There are 8 optical test rooms all with the latest clinical technology including OCT plus a dedicated audiology room holding the potential for the store to become an Audiology Hub.Halifax is a beautiful market town located in West Yorkshire. Famous for its wool trade; you can still visit the Piece Hall, an impressive, listed building where in the 1700's weavers would sell their cloth. After a 19 million pound refurbishment, the building now features independent shops, restaurants, bars, an art gallery and concert venue.There are excellent transport links with a mainline train station 6 minute's walk from the store, where a train can take you to Leeds in under 40 minutes or Manchester in around 45 minutes. Access to the M62 is less than 6 miles from Halifax and the M1 is situated 22 miles away.Requirements of the roleAlongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, you'll need to share the store's ethos. They're looking for someone who wants to grow and develop the team, offer exceptional customer care and improve patient outcomes. You'll be a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, isn't afraid of a hands-on approach, and someone who is keen to get involved and build a rapport with their team.
