Exciting times are ahead for this global food giant headquartered in Germany - importer and distributor for coffee machines and hot beverage services and they are looking for high caliber sales professionals to play key roles in the Western Cape (City Centre - Southern Suburbs) as they invest and grow as a business. The role entails acquiring new business through cold calling and conversion of prospective customers to actual sales. Achievement of Sales targets and customer satisfaction is key to your success in this role.Duties & ResponsibilitiesTarget Achievement:Achieve individual sales target for new business and customer acquisitionCold calling:Ability to acquire new clientsAbility to up-sell and cross-sellStrong focus on acquisitionsAbility to source and convert own leadsCustomer Relationship management:Responsible for developing relationships with prospectsSuccessfully converting leads into signed contractsReporting:Provide accurate forecasting on weekly and monthly sales pipelineProvide daily activity and sales reportUp-to-date reporting on marketing leads providedReports to be submitted within the timeframes requiredDesired Experience & QualificationMatric / Senior Certificate or equivalent (Minimum)Proficient in MS Office (All packages)No Criminal RecordMust have at least 1-2 years' experience in dealing with Corporates & SME sales with a track record of acquiring new customersOwn reliable transportIdeal CandidateCandidate needs to be a vibrant individual that will adapt to the already-existing energetic and fast paced environmentStrong Sales ability coupled with business acumenExcellent presentation skillsCommunication skillsDecision making skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsTime management skillsAbility to formulate, set and manage goals and objectivesAbility to cope with high pressure levels and manage stress effectivelyExcellent telephone and email etiquetteStrong relationship building, account planning and process competence skillsSalary:Month 1 - Basic R16 000 + R4000 commission guarantee.Month 2 - Basic R16 000 + R4000 commission guarantee.Month 3 - Basic R16 000 + R2000 commission guarantee + commission.Month 4 - Basic of R16 000 plus commission.Should you not hear from us within 2 weeks of the closing date, please note that your application has been unsuccessful.
