ACCOUNT ASSISTANT

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide critical support to our accounting department by handling a variety of day-to-day financial tasks. You will be responsible for data entry, processing invoices and payments, maintaining financial records, and assisting with the preparation of reports. Responsibilities:
- Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain general ledgers and subsidiary accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage and track vendor payments.
- Prepare expense reports and manage reimbursements (optional).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Perform other accounting tasks as assigned.
- Adhoc job as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Account Assistant or related role.
- Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
