The Opportunity We are looking for an Implementation Consultant whose core responsibilities include project management, software configuration, derivative capture/processing/reporting as well as supporting Product Management and Client Success. This role will be in hybrid setup. About You The Derivative Path APAC, Inc. Implementation Consultant will ideally have 2+ years of experience in client/server or SaaS software project management and familiarity with financial derivatives covering interest rate and FX products. What You’ll Do Professional Services
- Effectively applies Derivative Path methodology and enforces implementation standards.
- Execute project tasks integrating the derivative portfolios and business processes of clients into Derivative Path platforms.
- Assists in drivingfull scope of system implementation activities, including gathering functional and technical requirements, designing solution, building interfaces and systems, completing testing cycles, delivering training, and deploying the final product deliverables.
- Support configurations, train clients on technical solutions, and ensure quality of delivery and all deliverables, including process documentation and UAT scripts.
- Support the client relationship from onboarding, implementation, and client satisfaction.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Work closely with the client success team on the analysis and resolution of client inquiries related to derivatives trading, Derivative Path platform usage, and client business processes.
- Serve as a first response contact for both client and internal operations-related inquiries.
- Develop knowledge base documentation related to Derivative Path platforms and procedures.
- Baccalaureate or Graduate degrees in Business or Finance or relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of Derivative Capture, Payment processing or TMS implementation experience.
- Current or prior background in finance and accounting ideally with emphasis on capital markets
- Strong project management experience including workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, engagement economics (profitability), and communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can clearly convey complex business concepts to project stakeholders.
- Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Comfortability with data analysis and use of productivity tools like Excel.
- Advanced knowledge of project management practices and concepts; PMP or Certification is plus but not required.
- Must be willing to work on a night-shift schedule (9PM to 6AM Philippine Time)
- Must be willing to work onsite in our Makati Office at least 2 to 3 times per week.
- Willingness and ability to travel, as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Understand, resolve and escalate customer issues in a timely fashion.
- Establish and manage client expectations.
- Develop lasting relationships with client personnel to enhance client experience.
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Quickly master new technologies
- Seeks and participates in development opportunities above and beyond standard Derivative Path training.
- Work independently, adapt, and complete tasks with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a problem-solving mindset and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent time management skills as multiple clients and projects will be managed simultaneously.
