HSEQ Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE department, providing direction and guidance.
• Collaborate with Management to devise and execute safety policies and overall HSE strategy.
• Drive strategy implementation, setting annual HSE targets and plans and ensuring they remain relevant.
• Review and recommend solutions to enhance HSE plans, fostering a positive safety culture.
• Advise Management during crisis or emergency response, maintaining Crisis and Emergency Response Plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and address non-compliances.
• Oversee risk management processes, conducting assessments and ensuring actions are closed.
• Manage incident management and investigations, as well as planned HSE audits.
• Act as the primary contact for HSE-related government agencies and mutual aid companies.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.

• Degree or the equivalent certification in Engineering, HSE or related
• Min 10-15 years of HSE management experience in a process plant environment.
• Min 5 years in a management position leading a team of HSE experts
• Preferably with WSH Level C or above certification.
• Possess deep knowledge of Singapore safety regulations and standards, adept at research and implementation.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring others and maintaining high performance.
• Set an example with exemplary HSE behaviour, motivating others.
• Analyse and identify improvement areas effectively.
• Provide expert HSE advice to employees and contractors.
