The Localization Analyst II at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for managing and coordinating multiple Localization projects to ensure high quality and on-time delivery. They will provide support and assistance as needed throughout the localization process. This position is part of the Technical Publications and Localization department located in County Clare and will be fully remote. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Manage the localization of product instructions for use and software, keep detailed schedules, reporting status, troubleshoot issues and resolve problems.
- Troubleshoot and support translation memory, authoring tool, and integration issues.
- Create and test software installers.
- Carry out localization testing of software via virtual or physical analyzer working with software teams, project teams, or translation vendor to resolve issues.
- Investigate and introduce methods, tools, technologies, and processes to improve and advance the localization process.
- Assist in implementation and driving consistency of DBS tools and processes across the department. Participate in Kaizen events.
- Generate and maintain appropriate records and data to ensure compliance with company policies & procedures as well as FDA QSR and ISO requirements.
- Degree level preferably with localization background.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven project management skills
- Working experience with Localization tools, workflow, and processes.
- Familiarity working with cross functional and internationally dispersed teams.
- Translation of medical device or pharmaceutical reagents.
- FDA regulatory requirements.
- Managing translation memory and working with content management tools
