The Role We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our client's team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. As part of a team of 7, you will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 4500 employees across multiple entities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact within the organisation. **Please note this role does require an immediate start, so you must be immediatley available/available within 1 week to be considered**
- Processing payroll for 4500 employees accurately and efficiently
- Handling inquiries related to payroll and providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborating with team members to ensure payroll processes are streamlined and effective
- Assisting with ad-hoc payroll-related tasks as required
- Previous experience in a similar payroll position
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and regulations
- Experience using payroll software (previous experience using Chris21 or iChris will be highly desired)
