For over 50 years, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. has been serving newcomers, seniors, youth and families as a multicultural non-profit. Ever evolving, and now one of the largest social service agencies in the country, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. offers a wide range of programs that promote belonging, wellness, and independence of all people on their Canadian Journey.

As part of their strategy and program offering, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. collaborates with BC Housing, Metro Vancouver municipalities and other parties to operate and manage affordable housing projects throughout Metro Vancouver. With 1,160 affordable housing units across 13 locations, the organization is continually adding to its portfolio and broadening its impact.

Looking forward, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and its development partners have a number of new projects underway, which will add over 1,000 units of affordable rental housing units to the community.

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic community real estate leader to provide overall leadership, direction, and management in the areas of affordable housing project development, asset management and operation of the portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director, Community Real Estate and Asset Management will participate as part of the senior leadership team in establishing the strategic direction of the organization and play a key role in identifying new project developments and partnership opportunities that will have a positive and lasting impact for individuals and families in the homes S.U.C.C.E.S.S. manages and operates.

The ideal candidate will be a broad real estate professional with significant community project development experience, preferably focused on market and non-market housing. In addition to operational experience and real estate expertise, the ideal candidate is a strategic leader with sound financial acumen and capable of coaching, guiding, organizing and mentoring a committed team.

This role is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The salary for this position ranges from $166,692 - $173,355.
