Opportunity Overview:Join a Montreal-based company in a remote position with a competitive base salary of up to $130,000. We are seeking a General Manager (GM) with a strong sales and managed services focus to lead daily operations of the consulting and application services business unit. As the GM, you will drive growth strategies, enhance client solutions, and oversee project delivery across North America.Responsibilities:Sales and Market Expansion:- Collaborate with the EVP of Consulting Services to set sales and market expansion strategies.- Align solutions, pricing, and delivery schedules with sales and customer engagement teams for profitability.- Ensure operational and cultural integration between the Application Services team and new consulting team.Operational Efficiency:- Implement best practices for manpower planning and resource allocation to maximize utilization rates and gross margins.- Develop competitive business strategies for new solutions in partnership with various teams.- Lead feasibility and profitability analysis to drive positive customer outcomes.Leadership and Strategic Direction:- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic leader for the business unit.- Provide guidance on lifecycle delivery management and project activities.- Keep senior leadership engaged through effective communication and dashboards.Requirements:- 15+ years' experience in services and product sales with operations management expertise, preferably in the IBMi environment.- Proven track record of setting financial goals and metrics, managing large cross-functional teams, and delivering complex solutions.- Experience in change management, organizational evolution, and communicating with diverse stakeholder groups.Compensation:- Reports to CEO with competitive base salary, corporate bonus, equity, and an approximate $300,000 package.- Responsible for driving strong utilization rates, gross margins, and overall performance indicators.Join Us:If you are a sales-focused professional with a passion for managing services and driving business growth, we invite you to be a part of our innovative and customer-centric team.
