Fully remote WFH/EMEA remit with some travel. This is a full time permanent role. Home location: Hertfordshire and commutable distance to Stevenage Are you a strong and proven Change Manager with a minimum of 3-5 years Change Management Experience as a Change Manager, Change Manager Specialist or Change Program Manager or equivalent post held? Do you live in the Stevenage/Hertfordshire area yet willing to work from home to undertake an EMEA/ multi-site remit? If yes, then this could be the perfect job for you! My client is looking for a proven and capable Change Manager to drive and deliver organisational change across multiple manufacturing and pharmaceutical R&D facilities for one of their global pharmaceutical clients that have a UK site in Stevenage. As the dedicated and sole Change Management Specialist you will report to the Global Program Manager and you will build robust project plans, roll out strategic change to bring exciting innovations, new technology, people and process change to the scientific community across the EMEA sites to include Stevenage. The change management specialist plays a crucial role in driving organizational change by facilitating communication, building buy-in, and ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly and effectively, contributing to the program’s success and resilience in a constantly evolving scientific environment. The change management specialist is responsible for the day-to-day facilitation of all strategic change. The role involves guiding individuals, teams, and the organization through transitions, ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly and effectively across multiple sites in EMEA. This unique role is ensuring that people affected by a change understand, accept, and adopt the new processes, systems, or behaviors and create ownership within the impacted groups. You will also lead on planning, executing, and closing a specific project within a defined scope, timeline, and project outcomes within defined parameters. You will have a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and lessons learned from previous change initiatives. While you will be working from a home office as part of the EMEA team, you will have to attend the pharmaceutical site in Stevenage as and when required and the change you will manage will have a global footprint, meaning you will interact and work with peers in the US and other European pharmaceutical manufacturing and R& D sites. You will need to adjust your working hours to work across multiple time zones and may be required to travel. With a global mindset, the role requires that you can adapt your communication style to different groups, be resilient and confident and that you find it easy to gain people’s trust by being consistent and reliable. You should be a skilled facilitator who can manage group dynamics, encourage participation, and resolve conflicts constructively to keep change and projects on track. Qualification & Experience Essential experience you must bring to the role is: -

  • Proven change management 3-5 years minimum and project management experience is a must
  • Experience of change management project leadership and/or project administration
  • Experience in successful process development or continuous improvement
  • Experience in cross-functional communication across multiple sites
  • Strong general IT-skills and ability to quickly learn and adopt new systems
  • Willingness to work remotely/ WFH as part of an EMEA project management team as the Change Management expert
  • Experience of laboratory Asset Management, Technical Laboratory Services, R&D and General Lab Services would be ideal but not essential. Other industry change management experience to include Banking, Finance or Manufacturing will be fully considered
  • Project or change management certification
Preferred experience is as follows: -
  • Experience of laboratories and familiarity with laboratory equipment
  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • Work as a Change Manager within the life sciences, banking/finance or multi-site manufacturing sector with a European change management remit
