ACS Egham are looking for a Head of Department for Maths to join our dynamic team who are focused on inspiring the world’s future thinkers and doers. Essential requirements:

  • A dynamic leader who can build and develop a team, by creating a culture of inclusion where everyone has a voice and opportunities to lead and grow.
  • A leader who can inspire and motive the team to go beyond and push boundaries in the name of improving education.
  • A leader who recognises the importance of holistic education and understand the collaborative approach needed the international baccalaureate programmes.
  • A strong sense of teamwork.
Ideal requirements:
  • Experience of teaching IBDP Maths AA or higher-level maths courses in secondary schools including post 16 education.
  • Experience with MYP Maths would also be preferred or a background / experience in inquiry based learning with authentic assessment.
  • Ability to add value to our learning programme through Co-Curricular activities: The ACS Egham CCA programme has 5 focus areas: Athletics, Performing Arts, STEM (Destination Imagination), Leadership and development (Duke of Edinburgh) and Internationalism and debating (Model United Nations – MUN).
  • Enrichment Programme– Trip leaders / willing trip volunteers, organising service-learning opportunities and leadership training.
