Product Development, Consultant (Manager for Protection Products)

About the Role • Support in product development and implementation process of protection products, including CI, Medical and Accident • Good quality and accuracy of deliverables in a timely manner Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collect market information and conduct internal and external product analysis for deriving the right product solutions and product strategies to meet customer needs and competitive market environments
• Lead and implement product design and development cycle in line with the company strategies in various product development projects
• Develop various product literatures (e.g. contract, PGS template, memo, product specification, training materials), product launch pack and presentation materials for product launches
• Conduct and review the User Acceptance Test (UAT) for different systems, such as Proposal Generation System (PGS), to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives
• Oversee the quality and handle the timeline of materials delivered by team members
• Review product literatures from other departments to ensure accuracy from product perspective
• Prepare the business reports as assigned by supervisor and ensure accurate output
• Coordinate and work closely with various departments (e.g. Law, Compliance, Operations, IT, Actuarial and Marketing departments) for assigned tasks to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
• Participate in Product Implementation Taskforce and PGS regular meetings to support the implementation of the product launches, various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
• Assist in various product maintenance tasks for inforce business (e.g. revamp in existing product literatures, dividend review, periodic due diligence with bank partners, Day 2 product development items, etc.)
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• University / College graduate with 6 years of working experience in insurance products development role, actuarial science or related background is preferred
• Self-starter with good analytical ability
• Team player with positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Creative with innovative thinking and customer oriented
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with business sense
• Project management skill is helpful
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• You are required to acquire relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities
