We are currently seeking a highly skilled Server Engineer for our top tier Consulting client. If you thrive in a challenging environment and possess a strong technical background, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert and Level III engineer in resolving various IT infrastructure problems.
- Act as an escalation point for team members regarding IT infrastructure issues.
- Proactively monitor client infrastructures and implement preventive measures to avoid problems and issues.
- Collaborate with the helpdesk team leader to deliver top-level service to clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Offer infrastructure advice to internal teams and clients to enhance system efficacy, stability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with teammates to design and implement technology solutions and projects.
- Maintain up-to-date records of client IT infrastructure.
- Remain accessible via phone during out-of-office hours.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Perform other assigned ad-hoc duties.
- Diploma or above in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a technology support role, with at least 3 years' experience in a senior engineer role.
- Trade floor or financial services IT experience is an advantage.
- Holding certificates such as MCSE/MCITP, Microsoft MS/AZ, VCAP, VCP, CISSP, CISA, etc., is a plus.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server technologies is essential.
- Solid experience with multi-site infrastructure deployment.
- Proficiency in IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage systems, data backups, replications, networks, UPS, etc.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin preferred).
