Equity Derivatives Trader (Options) - Chinese Securities

Equity Derivatives, Trader, Options, Securities Your new company Our client is a leading Chinese Securities firm who is seeking an experienced Equity Derivatives Trader with a focus on options to join our dynamic Derivatives Trading Desk. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting proprietary trading of equity derivatives products, with a particular emphasis on options strategies. Your new role

• Execute profitable trading strategies across a range of equity derivatives, with a focus on options
• Develop and share insightful market analyses, including forecasts and assessments of key events
• Work closely with the trading team to optimize the profitability of the derivatives book and achieve the firm's financial targets
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the firm's options trading capabilities
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by the management team

• Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 3-6 years of successful trading experience in equity derivatives, with a strong focus on options
• Proven track record of generating consistent trading profits through options strategies
• Excellent understanding of options pricing models, risk management, and trading techniques
• Proficient in financial modeling, programming (e.g., Python, VBA), and data analysis
• Assertive, independent, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Membership in the Treasury Markets Association (TMA) or similar professional certification is preferred
