Job Description: On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Solutions Architect to oversee the requirements, design and architecture for their clinical system. Responsibilities: • Document and monitor requirements needed to support the project. • Work closely with stakeholders within the organization and the vendor to ensure designs reflect both target states and architectural principles. • Review project requirements and technical design to make sure it adheres to existing organizational standards while collaborating with other solution and domain architects. • Will act as the liaison between the project, technical, and architectural areas.• Account for possible project challenges and constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope based on design directions. • Contribute to Enterprise Architecture program where necessary.Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • 5 years experience in developing application, information and/or technology.• Minimum nine (9) years proven experience in the field. • Minimum seven (7) years TOGAF and Zachman frameworks. • Experience acting as a lead IT Architect and leading teams.• Proven experience in the provision of end-to-end architectural solutions for systems and services. • Proven experience in large scale software deployment and information technology infrastructure modernization to improve system security. • Previous project management experience is advantageous. • In-depth understanding of off the shelf software, common hardware, and security. • Sound knowledge of various client and server operating systems and databases, networking solutions, and a variety of middleware and communications platforms. • Must possess advanced communication skills and be capable of translating complex technical solutions into business focused language. • Must have strong organizational skills. • Must be capable of working independently. • Previous experience in healthcare IT is an asset. • Previous experience provisioning or enabling the deployment of security solutions is an asset.
