The University of Doha for Science and Technology is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Application Analyst (ERP) in the Information Technology Directorate. Reporting to the Supervisor, ERP the Application Analyst (ERP) must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support the Information Technology Directorate in fully implementing the university's mission and vision. Responsibilities: This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will develop, support and maintain PeopleSoft and other UDST business IT systems and to ensure maximum utilization for UDST's business Process. The incumbent is also responsible to provide support with the maintenance of existing PeopleSoft modules, and ensure the system is able to be effectively utilized by users. Candidates should have an outstanding record of industry experience, and possess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the role of Application Analyst (ERP). The successful candidate is responsible to optimize the use of the University's PeopleSoft systems. Responsibilities include assisting with design, implementation and development of new modules and module updates in PeopleSoft, in coordination with key stakeholders, and ensure module design meets organizational requirements. The Candidates should be able to work on PeopleTools 8.53 and above, Application Engine, XML Publisher reports, Integration Broker, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Fluid Interfaces Candidates will provide support in the use of software and IT solution functionality for UDST business process through well documented system customization, in alignment with ITIL as well as UDST- IT policies and procedures as well as, develop and deliver training, guidance and support for IT users on best practice, technical concepts and general usage to increase knowledge and effective use of UDST IT systems. Candidates will assist functional areas with scope planning in coordination with the relevant stakeholders, in order to assess, analyze and plan for future IT system needs. S/he will also provide support with the deployment of IT business systems by participating in the design, evaluation and testing processes. Candidates will assist in day to day technical support for UDST IT systems, contributing to the timely and accurate resolution of issues by identifying problems and recommending solutions. S/he will also create documented procedures for configuring, maintaining, upgrading, testing and coding of UDST- IT systems. Qualifications: Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in IT or related field required Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in IT or related field Language: Fluency in written and spoken English language, Arabic is an asset. Other Required Skills: The Successful candidate should have a good understanding of PeopleSoft HCM Functionality like Job Data, Payroll for North America, Global Payroll, ESS, MSS etc. will be an added advantage. The successful candidate should have the ability to develop and generate queries and IT reports from PeopleSoft and ensure end-user requirements are met in a timely fashion, integrate systems to increase automation of processes and flow of data through applications, and support existing business systems, in accordance with guidelines established by ITIL and UDST policies and procedures. The candidate should demonstrate a good understanding of education technologies that are designed for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of services at the university. A strong commitment to meet and satisfy the needs of internal and external stakeholders and, the ability to anticipate and manage change effectively is essential. Effective time management & organizational skills, the capacity to establish effective working relationships across all levels in the organization, and a strong commitment to working in a team environment are essential.
