In this role you are accountable for development, commercialization, product integrity, manufacturability, quality, and performance to target FOB of our product category Fanwear (Football and Motorsport/F1). Through innovation and excellence in product development you contribute to reaching the financial targets and KPI's of the assigned product categories and ultimately contribute to the overall stichd goals.Your Mission• Manage a team; grow and develop world-class talent, providing timely coaching and guidance to individual team members;• Responsible for fit and technical specifications and core measurements from initial launch through production;• Attend hand over meetings with design and product development for technical risk assessment, block allocation and any special care requirements;• Measure in and asses make of proto's through to production in PLM;• Work with PD team to provide all fit and make approvals from final proto to production;• Create fit and make specifications for new seasonal bodies in line with brand requirements;• Occasional factory visits, liaising with off shore factories in Europe and Asia;• Managing core blocks and grading for all categories, oversee continuity of fit requirements on multiple product types across the supply base. Regular block and pattern reviews, developing and maintaining block library. Making sure grading specifications & Technical tolerance levels are in line with differing fabrications and methods of manufacturing and are in line with our blocks • Oversee QA standards & technical product specifications;  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the competition through comp shopping and continuously work on evolving and improving product and achieving high end product;• React to retail/ wholesale problems if they arise and investigate in a timely manner. Gain a good understanding of the customers' needs through store visits, online reviews and meetings; • Implementing and reviewing standards and procedures on new initiatives on improving quality, and fit;• Provide tech training for colleagues in the product development department. Your Talent• Master education in Product Development or relevant working experience in a related field;• You have minimum 8 years of relevant senior experience, preferably in a sports-lifestyle industry or international organization with global brands, of which minimum 3 years leading a team;• You know how to build and grade garment measurement specifications;• You have full understanding of garment construction/fit and make across categories;• You have the ability to risk asses all stages of development and production and advise and implement change where needed;• You are a team-player with drive, curiosity, vision, and exceptional communication skills.•  Results-oriented and strategic, you thrive in a cross-functional environment, wearing different hats pending the topic or issue at hand. You have a strong knowledge of manufacturing processes /supply chain and are comfortable engaging with different partner groups. • Your English is on a proficiency level. We Offer• Our salaries are based on 38 hours per week, but fulltime work is 40 hours per week.
