Head of Corporate Communications Adyen is looking for a Head of Corporate Communications to join our Amsterdam office, and lead a team of Content and Communication Managers, based in NL and New York. This role reports into the CFO.Taking ownership of telling Adyen's story through key publications such as our shareholder letter and annual report, managing press relations and media coverage around these topics, this is an opportunity to have an impact on the public perception of our business.What You'll DoAct as the primary Adyen spokesperson to global tier 1 media and regulatorsDrive the creation of key company publications (e.g. annual reports and bi-annual shareholder letters) and investor communications (liaising with analysts and investors)Be a key sparring partner to the management board and global leadership team - advising them on communications strategy and issue management Own the development and maintaining of crisis communications company-wideCultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists and editorsCollaborate internally with PR (Marketing), Internal Comms (HR), Investor Relations (Finance) and leadership teamWho You AreA people leader with experience in empowering and mentoring global teams, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity and growthA background in corporate communications is essential, with experience of navigating a complex, international environmentFully fluent in both written and spoken English and DutchExperience of being a trusted corporate spokesperson, managing interactions with the media and other external stakeholders during both crisis communications and significant company announcementsCalm in unexpected situations, confident in interacting with senior leadership on a wide range of topicsA background in Fintech/Financial Services is not essential, an interest in the industry, as well as a solid grasp of current affairs are must-haves Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments Our unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives.
