FUNCTION: WELDING ENGINEER PIPELINE DISCPLINE: ENGINEERING PROJECT: HAIL & GHASHA LOCATION: ABU DHABI DURATION: CONTRACT (RENEWABLE) SALARY: MARKET RELATED _________________________________________________ "TRS is looking for Three (3) WELDING ENGINEERS PIPELINE to join our leading International Client's HAIL & GHASHA PROJECT based in ABU DHABI, UAE." JOB DESCRIPTION: Follow welding through all its aspects from bid phase when welding philosophy has to be set to Project completions, looking at solutions of high-quality level and high productivity, according to Project Schedule, monitoring and supporting Production Phase. Promote and support new welding solutions, techniques and consumables to achieve the most competitive and strategic results. Assist and support the Welding Coordinator and/or project teams on all welding matters. Prepare and issue preliminary Welding Documents for assigned project or bids. Review clients' specifications and scopes of work, examine pipe metallurgy and prepare detailed Welding procedures to achieve maximum productivity in accordance with required quality levels. Coordinate and schedule personnel and systems for the qualification of welding procedures and welders. Review subcontractors' tender documents and technical qualifications. QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma, or related field from an accredited university preferred. Minimum of 5 years' experience in programs of similar size and scope.
